Jewellery

Each bridesmaid wore a stunning necklace and earring set made using an unusual purple shade of cultured pearl.

The sapphire bridal necklace and matching bracelet looked striking and provided a stunning 'something blue'!

This bracelet is made from cultured pearls. It has a traditional lobster clasp with optional double faced satin ribbons that can be tied to add a flourish to your wrist.
The bracelet was designed to pull together the pearls from the bridal bouquet with the beautiful purples in the dupion silk roses. A pearl hair comb provided a final touch for Paula's bridesmaid daughter.

Three very dear ladies (and I) celebrated turning 30 recently and I wanted to give them something special that we could all use to commemorate the passing of time.

To this end I made us each a black pearl jewellery set with a cameo pendant designed so it can be removed and worn separately.

The cameo is of The Three Graces as I felt this was a fitting tribute to the joy, charm and beauty of these wonderful women and the last decade of friendship.

Vikki wanted a tiara to emulate the beading on her wedding dress. I took the crystal and pearl flower design from the bodice and replicated this on the tiara band to make a bespoke tiara that complemented her dress and veil beautifully.

Liz wanted a necklace that would add a contemporary edge to the classic vintage three tier pearl necklace. I added a strand of pearls and crystal to the back of the necklace to emphasise the low back and elegant lines of her dress. I also made a bracelet to complement this which can be fastened using a conventional fastening or the added ribbon and lace. The bridesmaids all received matching, one strand, bracelets with a navy ribbon tie.

I designed this tiara for my wedding in order to echo my (normally) very curly hair. Having searched in numerous shops and online to find "the" tiara it became apparent that I would have to make my own. I also made simple earrings to complement my necklace which was an 18th birthday gift from my parents. Each bridesmaid and the flower girls were also made earrings, necklaces and bracelets using a mix of classic and black pearls in line with the colour theme.
