The Wilkinson-Rose Wedding (September 2012)

Leah and Andy planned a wedding with a 1950's swing theme and beautiful purple accent colours. Leah chose four different shades of purple to tone with the stunning bridesmaid dresses. She was keen to have a mix of real and silk roses particularly as her maiden name is Rose. The combination of real ivory roses and dupion silk roses in the different shades of purple looked stunning.

Each bridesmaid wore a silk dupion rose wrist corsage and a purple cultured pearl bracelet and earring set. The flower-girls looked precious with their matching silk rose pomanders.

The Mother-of-the Bride looked resplendent in her outfit finished with a silk rose corsage in purple tones. The buttonholes were real ivory roses finished with different coloured strips of the purple silks.

Leah's bridal bouquet was remade into a keepsake bouquet using ivory silk dupion roses following the wedding and the real roses dried as a memento of this beautiful day.

The table centrepieces were designed to work with Andy and Leah's theme to suggest giant Martini cocktails with silk roses and crystals instead of olives.
